How much does it cost to reupholster boat seats near Smith Mountain Lake?
A single seat runs $225 to $550, a helm chair rebuild $350 to $700, a full pontoon furniture set $2,400 to $6,500, and a complete interior $1,800 to $8,500. Those are our real published numbers, not teasers, and the full table with what moves each price is on the cost page.
Do you come to my dock or marina?
Yes, that is the default. Every marina on Smith Mountain Lake, Leesville Lake docks, and driveways across Lynchburg, Forest and Bedford. Dock service is built into the published prices inside our listed areas.
What is the difference between marine vinyl and regular vinyl?
Marine vinyl carries UV inhibitors, mildew-resistant backing and cold-crack ratings that furniture and automotive vinyl skip. On an outdoor boat the difference shows up by the second summer. We only stock marine grades.
Why does thread matter so much?
Sunlight destroys polyester thread years before it destroys vinyl, which is why lake seats usually fail at the seams first. We sew with PTFE thread, which UV does not degrade, so the seam outlives the panel.
Do I need new foam with new vinyl?
Only if the foam fails a squeeze test. Foam prices separately at $60 to $180 per cushion and dry, firm foam stays. Roughly half the cushions we quote keep their original foam.
How long does the work take?
Most seat and canvas jobs run inside two weeks door to door in the off season. Summer stretches that, and big pontoon sets get staged so the boat stays usable. Rush inside two weeks carries a published 15 percent premium.
When is the cheapest time to book?
November through February, about 12 percent under season pricing. The boat is idle anyway and it launches in spring finished.
Can you match my factory colors and patterns?
Almost always. We pattern from your original covers and match color from physical sample books held against the boat in daylight, including two-tone factory schemes.
Do you do canvas as well as seats?
Yes: bimini re-covers on your frame, mooring and cockpit covers, playpen cover repairs, snaps, zippers and binding. Canvas repair is half the trade and half our page list.
What areas do you cover?
